'End the War- Vote Democratic in '08" - ('08 slogans wanted) |
|
"End the War- Elect a Democrat" "Support our Troops and Bring Them Homme- Vote Democratic" "Democrats will Bring Them Home- Vote in '08" "Democrats Need Your Help to End the War- Vote in '08" "Democrats for Strength at Home and Abroad- Help us End the War with your Vote" Democrats Need More Democrats to End the War- Vote Democratic in '08"
Add yours or improve on the above.
(my view: a slogan that is very direct and instructive, which tells the public what and how to achieve their objective, at the same time undercutting the Republican party without mentioning them (going negative) is the way to go)

2. political campaigns are marketing campaigns |

the candidate (or party) is the 'product'. Like it or not, that's the way is is. Remember "The man From Hope"?
A well-crafted poliitical slogan can incapsulate our message and define our opponent at the same time. The GOP will do it to us, you can bet.
