Everything you need to know about the CA. election rigging attempt by the Re-thugs
It is my belief that the only way Republicans have a chance in 2008 is if this extremely partsian proposal would pass...Here is some great FAQ's from the CA. Democratic Party's website along with editorials of 14 newspapers blasting this electoral vote stealing initiative by the corrupt Rethugs....

1. K & R for this VERY IMPORTANT issue
It is how they are rigging the next one. But, hey, gives me a wee bit of hope that they are planning for a 'next one'. At this point, I'll take small signs as good signs.

2. That the GOP is ONLY advocating this initiative in BLUE California shows this is not
about fairness but in manipulation the electoral process AGAIN!

3. Kickin. Hell, even the Gooper Gov. has dissed it...
per this story:
http://abclocal.go.com/kgo/story?section=politics&id=5639122

"I feel like, if you're all of a sudden in the middle of the game start changing the rules, it's kind of odd," said Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, R-California. "It almost feels like a loser's mentality, saying, 'I cannot win with those rules. So let me change the rules.'"

If it passes...

Let's put it this way. However pissed off I was at Connecticut voters for giving Joementum another six years as a neocon thug, rather than Ned Lamont, the actual Democratic candidate running?

I'll be an order of magnitude angry at Californians if they screw up and allow this bloody abortion to become law.

5. It reminds me of Hillary's first comment as Senator-elect.
She called for eliminating the electoral college:

6. I don't understand why that is legal..
.. because wouldn't that mean that every state
would have to do the same thing to make the
election fair and symmetrical? Or something
like that...
