than that song being annoying and her talking over it worse, what more than annoys me is the way she treats her callers. She is rude and talks over everything they say, like if she repeats what they are saying it is more right than if they say it. Worse, though she does it so often it has become funny to me, is that when a caller comes up with a thought or idea that hasn't been mentioned by her she always has a way to put it down and tell them they are wrong. She would be much better off not to take calls and just go on with her lectures which seems to be her whole reason to be on the air in her mind. She fails to realize she has some intelligent callers who might be more interesting than her insistent talking.

Randi is on my last nerve. Seems lately she is all about Randi... pretty damned self-absorbed. I liked her better when she cared more about politics than she did about herself.

She is very smart, and she is a crack investigator/reporter when she wants to be.

For almost 15 years that I can remember. It was her "TGIF" song. When she was with WJNO she starting using it and would ad lib along with the song with her producer. Sometimes it would be about what was going on in the world or in her world.

It's just a funny bit and I think it is more habit than anything else, after all these years.
