22. Thanks for reminding me!
I just fired off an e-mail asking MSNBC to show Tucker the door and give his slot to Schuster.
I mentioned my TV is tuned to their channel most of the time but when Tucker comes on I switch to CNN.
This is the first time I've ever written to a network. I wonder if they respond to their e-mails?

26. I've written to them numerous times
and they then sent me occasional surveys. A lot of changes have taken place over there since then. They really do listen. They care about the ratings.

I'm all for David Schuster having his own show. He is really sharp and his segments are the best part of Hardball.

29. thanks for the reply
If they send me surveys I will definitely respond.
Yes, I too detect a change and with the success of Keith, I think MSNBC has their finger in the wind. Of course it may be nothing more than lining up behind a winner as the Dems are poised to win and win big in the elections. (I hope)

36 vs. 33 vs. 25: How the Coalition Coalesces
By Spencer Ackerman - September 14, 2007, 12:05 PM

Let's clarify a bit about the Iraq coalition. President Bush last night thanked "the 36 nations who have troops on the ground in Iraq." We count 25 of them (including, um, us) as part of Multinational Force-Iraq, most of whom have a tiny presence "on the ground"; six nations that have a non-MNF-I presence as part of a Nato mission that mostly takes place outside of Iraq; and then brave Fiji, which helps protect the United Nations mission. (Also mostly outside Iraq.) -snip-

The Coalition of the Willing:

* Albania * Armenia * Austrailia * Azerbaijan * Bosnia and Herzegovina * Bulgaria * Czech Republic * Denmark * El Salvador * Estonia * Georgia * Japan * Kazakhstan * South Korea * Latvia * Lithuania * Macedonia * Moldova * Mongolia * Poland * Romania * Singapore * Slovakia * Ukraine * United Kingdom -snip-

30. Jeez, I hope Bush wasn't counting Canada as part of the 36...
because we're emphatically not. Parliament specifically voted not to go to Iraq. If there is 1 soldier there, then they're probably part of some officer exchange or something.

We're not (yet, say some) a country, of course, but we actually do have quite a few soldiers over there. One just bought it eight days before he would have come home. Need I even add that his tour had been extended three months (well, forever, now) because of the G.D. "surge"? :grr:
