Florida Repuke tries to kill no fault for State Farm
Florida DUers should sign the petition to force a special session to deal with No Fault and Kida Care:

http://www.civicconcern.org/action/SpecSessPIPKidCare/

The Republican speaker of the house Marco Rubio (R. State Farm) has succesfully blocked legislation that would extend No fault despite estimates that this will result in a million uninsured drivers on Florida's highways. Not only that but he is cutting funds for friggin Kid care wich helps out poor kids and their families.

Sign the petition at the link.

1. Done! K&R too.
You should x-post this in the Florida Forum also, just so it has a longer life span.

I doubt Rubio will listen. He's a Jeb Bush clone.

2. Will do
Thanks.

Marco has his eyes on the governorship or the US Seanate, he has calculated that helpin the insurance industry will guarantee plenty of cashola to run for these lofty spots but like Gallagher before him the people of florida will reject his insurance whoredom.

3. Because they can
As Florida PIP Sunsets, it is clear that all Insurance carriers will raise their rates on UIM (Uninusured mortorists). I am not an attorney, but from what I understand, this will be another cash-cow for the insurance companies. Plus, for those of you lucky enough to have any knd of health insurance, your coverage is going to go up at least 6% because of this. For those of you who havent had the "pleasure" of driving in Florida, I would like to point out that we have people here from all over Mexico and South America. Very few have Driver's Licenses nor any type of Insurance. If you get hit and injured, good luck my friend. This is the way our Republican Majority wants it! So be it.. just be careful when you cross that next intersection....
