This is huge.

http://forums.mirror.co.uk/viewtopic.php?t=13329&highlight=

The McCann's are now suspects and maybe were all along, and the Portuguese police had to know how carefully they had to walk. It's no wonder! Big, big government and business, a visit to our Attorney General to support the Adam Walsh Act, connections high up in British government. Big, big business. It's all there.

This is HUGE.

Get it before that page goes down.

3. I'm so lost on this...
I've heard teeny bits and pieces on this story, but now it looks like I'll have to do some research over the weekend. This is about that little girl who was abducted in Portugal, right?

7. Bush Does Want Nuclear Power!!
Bush Presses Nuclear Power Development Agenda

POTTSTOWN, Pennsylvania, May 25, 2006 (ENS) - President George W. Bush visited a Pennsylvania nuclear power plant Wednesday to make the point that the United States needs to build more nuclear power plants to expand the country's energy supply without increasing global warming. "Nuclear power helps us protect the environment," the President said.

Speaking at Exelon's Limerick Nuclear Generating Station about 40 miles northwest of Philadelphia, President Bush touched on the need for more renewable energy generated by the wind and Sun, but he focused most strongly on nuclear energy, calling it a source of power that is abundant, affordable, and safe.

"Nuclear power is safe," the President said to applause. "It is safe because of advances in science and engineering and plant design. It is safe because the workers and managers of our nuclear power plants are incredibly skilled people who know what they're doing."

10. this is what struck me the most. something the Bushies are probably doing
ulia Hobsbawm's new company 'Editorial Intelligence' specialises in analysing and exploiting comment and opinion in both print and online media. In simple terms, 'Editorial Intelligence' helps realise the potential of controlling the shape and fabric of public opinion and (d)ebate by controlling what is published in comment areas, forum areas, letters pages and message boards. They have even coined a new word for the online/published briTish public; they call it the 'Commentariat' (a play upon the word 'Proletariat' - orginally coined to describe the lower or working classes).

There are quite few past posts on that here on DU about that in the U.S. and business is good! Can't remember the name of the company off hand, but it's wing-nut.

But the point is the use of that company to take the heat off them and use it for propaganda they like instead.

13. Let me spell it out....
Dr. GERRY McCANN, Maddy's father, was supporting the push for nuclear energy: "Gerry McCann is a member of a government quango called COMARE (Committee on Medical Aspects of Radiation in the Environment) which has repeatedly come out in opposition to campaigners who claim that childhood cancers are more prevalent around nuclear power stations.

Both the U.S. and the UK want to start up nuclear energy programs again.

They don't want another scandal.

So how to turn Maddy's disappearance to their advantage?

Crime. What else to the conservatives have going for them? Nothing.

So they protect Dr. McCann and get him to promote their ace in the hole at the same time: tough on crime.

But the Portuguese police aren't playing nice!

So now there are all these connections to the higher echelons of both governments and it is backfiring big time.
