Thomas Sowell's recommendation for ending car chases: Shoot to Kill!
So here I am flipping through the piece of shit that masquerades as a legitimate newspaper (but that I unfortunately read because, sadly enough, I'm usually too fucking lazy to walk a mile down the street to get a copy of the Raleigh paper) we have in this town, when I came across...

Yes, Thomas Sowell, that stalwart defender of liberty, believes the way to stop high-speed pursuits is to let the cops shoot the pursuees out of helicopters. There's no way to make this shit up.

3. Talk about making a bad problem worse...
I'm all for stopping high speed car chases, but NOT by spraying the roads with bullets. I doubt people firing from helicopters, which are moving at close to or above 100 mph, are all that accurate when aiming at a vehicle moving at around the same speed. This could turn a potential of a few casualties into dozens of casualties, most of them bullet wounds from the cops. This guy must have an I.Q. of about -120 just to come up with this stupid fucking idea.

5. He also shows his contempt for due process
He is a slobbering idjit bunghole. He deserves ad hominems because he puts forth no actual arguments or any ideas of merit. He spews chunks of bilious fecal matter and decorates it with an icing of smarm.

4. Sowell has always been a dumb motherfucker
Last week his column against universal healthcare had him pull lots of idiotic nuggets out of his ass, including a gem about how people like to stiff their emergency room bills so that they can blow the money on "fun". It was the best variation on Reagan's welfare Cadillac queen canard I have seen in print in 20 years.

And in a real move of intellectually dishonest desperation, said that if we all could just pay our medical bills in installments, everything would work out on its own. He cited as an example the $50 ambulance bill he ran up decades ago and how he was allowed to pay it off incrementally.

He is a rank ignorant assclown of the worst kind.
