A Snapshot: What's Wrong in America

Diary Entry by Frank J. Ranelli

This is an anecdote for why certain Americans fell in love with Bush and what is inherently wrong in some parts of our nation!

::::::::
This AP article starts out precariously, "White men, conservatives, evangelicals - pivotal building blocs of the Republican Party", and precipitously drops to the little nugget of inane ignorance and xenophobia:

Lisa Baudoin, 40, a student and homemaker in Sugarland, Texas, said she is a conservative and supporting Thompson because of his views on abortion and immigration. She said she does not like Giuliani's more moderate immigration stance or his three marriages, and doesn't like McCain's opposition to the U.S. torturing terrorism suspects.

"How are you going to get information? They don't play nice. Why do we have to if no one else is," she said.

Lisa, an obvious soccer mom, wants to openly torture people who are merely suspected of a crime! How special is she? Then, in pure amazement, she asked, "Why do we have to (play nice)?"

So, to summarize, Lisa wants to torture people, control women's rights over their own bodies, wishes to judge people by how many times they marry and wants to apparently deport all people that are not "White, conservatives, evangelicals!"

Surprised? No. Speechless and disgusted, yes!

4. And if you point out she's an idiot, she'll say, "I have a right to an opinion!"
I know ... I've had this discussion with relatives. To this I will now reply, "Why do you think you
deserve an opinion?"
