I just saw one of the Flag-wrapped types in DC holding a sign that read:

TRAITORS
GO TO
HELL

So we are Traitors, eh?

I would like to see his service record.

was limited to a few distance shots of the peace demonstators, then closeups of that sign and a couple like it, and a clip of a rw'er ranting about the protesters being anti-troop and how he and his buds were there to look out for them

...it is simply stating a truism. In a moral sense, we can say with certainty that traitors do, indeed, go to hell.

My vet BIL stopped to watch an antiwar demonstration and one of those nitwits got in his face. The BIL looks about as threatening as Casper Milquetoast and the "patriot" was twice his size and mouthing off about the "cowards" who were against the war. The BIL maintained his composure, stated his Vietnam tour dates and places and asked the guy about his. That shut him up.

... claiming he loved only God. God then condemned Lucifer to be forever out of the sight of God - deprived of what he professed to love most - for failing to love mankind as God's children.

While this mythology/theology predates Chrisitanity, I find it hugely ironic that those who profess to love God are repeating the "sin" of Lucifer themselves.
