1. Even the Nazis got a fair trial at Nuremberg
even though Churchill and Stalin opposed.

5. we don't need the votes as much as we need an informed public.
Then as Henry Ford said there'd be a revolution by morning.
He of course was talking about the unconstitutional Federal Reserve though.
Alas, most people are like ostriches!

6. That is right call them, email them, snail mail them....
Just watch what they do.

I thought Leahy said they were gonna leave it to the courts???

I guess it wouldn't hurt. We could still pretend like we live in a representative democracy.

9. He said nothing of the sort and has introduced the
Habeas Restoration Act. He's also the primary author of The War Profiteering Prevention Act.

15. I thought Bush only stripped Habeus Corpus for foreigners
If so, then I think restoring this procedure will be pretty low on the overall agenda of the Congress, regardless of the attempts of leaders like Leahy.

17. If we let Congress know that we care, maybe that will raise its level
...on the agenda.

16. I'm Sorry, Dave
But Habeas Corpus can't be restored right now.

He's being held without bail on suspicion of terrorism.
