(Yes, that combination was on “This Week” last week.) This week’s “This Week with George Stephanopoulos” on ABC has Defense Secretary Robert Gates and Senator Jack Reed of Rhode Island, who gave the Democratic response to President Bush’s address about gradual troop cuts.

8. This will be an exciting debate. Last week on "This Week" Kerry mopped the floor with McCain.

Although they didn't meet side by side, Kerry was well prepared, forceful and passionate. And, right he should be, he has the moral upper ground and he has been correct regarding the outcome so far in Iraq. McCain in comparison sound old and tired.
