Poll finds Lamont would win ... if election were held now
Greenwich Democrat Ned Lamont would handily defeat U.S. Sen. Joseph I Lieberman if their 2006 race were re-run today, according to a new poll conducted for the liberal blog Daily Kos.

The survey of 600 voters who regularly vote in state elections was conducted between Monday and Wednesday by Research 2000, a Maryland-based operation whose clients have included the Journal Inquirer and other newspapers across the country.

The poll, which had a margin of error of plus or minus 4 percent, suggests that were the election held now, Lieberman - a longtime Democrat who ran for re-election as an independent candidate after Lamont won the Democratic primary - would get 40 percent of the vote, while Alan Schlesinger, the Republican in last year's contest, would take 10 percent.

3. We tried to tell you...
I feel like going back to my old canvass routes and ask the people who hated the war but will vote for Joe because "he's a nice guy", how do you feel now? Cheated? Betrayed by this "nice guy"? How do you feel voting for "experience" against courage?

Everything we said turned out to be correct. This pathetic loser shames me and my state.
