Why don't the pundits 'discuss' the Ari Fleischer Pro War Ads...??? |
|
Edited on Sun Sep-16-07 09:46 AM by spanone
so you can have ads that PROMOTE war - without question.
but print one ad that questions a 'war general' and the media is ALL OVER IT.
America knows that bu$h* fired ALL THE GENERALS THAT DISAGREED WITH HIM.
I think the MoveOn.Org ad was as fair as the 'other' ads.
imagine if moveon had spent 15 million dollars on ads.....

1. The ads were discussed, and it was pointed out that Fleischer was behind them. No traction. |
|
Criticize a standing general and insinuate he's a traitor -- lots of traction.
You can blame the pundits, but they're simply watching and commenting. Ever considering beating up the Dem candidates who ran away from the ad?

3. Another pitiful moment of bush's "presidency" |
|
General Pace testifying, gosh we should have used more troops when we started this thing. JUST LIKE GENERAL SHINSEKI SAID. And he got fired by all the fucking military experts in the bush administration.

Not only that, but the Moveon ad is up front with its agenda. It is definitely in-your-face to the general, and it is understandable why it got some hackles up. But why, one might ask, did Ari's ads not get any hackles up? Especially when he showed on national TV that he didn't even know the name of the soldier he was exploiting in the ads, the one who had lost his legs. I mean, how low is that? And yet it just doesn't stick.
I wonder sometimes if I really do understand the true nature of my fellow Americans. I really, really do wonder.
