1. No compromise, and the GOP continues to fade into obscurity.. |
|
Which is exactly where they belong. When I see a GOP mouthpiece like Tim Russert questioning McCain's bullshit, something has certainly shifted.
At the very least the people's voice is starting to be heard above the GOP/M$M rhetoric. Of course Bush doesn't care, but at least we're finally being heard.

2. I don't see the people's voice being heard. |
|
I see the continuation of the same bullshit lies being spread through the media.
Russert was a bit tough on McCain, but he still didn't challenge incorrect "factual" assertions by McCain.
All McCain could say to substantiate his inaccurate views were the inaccurate statements by this or that general: Generals who have consistently been wrong about everything, but we're supposed to think they're oracles because they're "good men" who've served with distinction. Russert should have pointed that out.
Gates did the exact same thing. He repeated the same lies that have already been disproved over and over again. It's a total farce. The media is just a vehicle for the lies.

4. Well, look at the polls.. Our voice is the majority now. |
|
No way that'd be the case if our ideas weren't being heard at least a little bit.

5. Well, nothing changes though, does it? |
|
The blood continues to flow right alongside the bullshit.
I'm glad we've been heard a little bit.

7. So the people's voice is being heard, but no one's listening. |
|
That would explain why I'm so annoyed so much. :)
