They've had shows on recycling, renewable energy, and now "green tech". They're pretty good shows that are encouraging people to get behind renewables, and refute the energy industry line that renewable energy, recycling etc. are infeasible or cost-prohibitive. They've also been talking about climate change like, *gasp*, it's a real thing that is going to hurt us all unless we do something about it.

And, best of all, no John Stossel in sight.

Also they talked about thin film photovoltaic vs silicon earlier in the episode. I was glad they covered that as well.

All around a good set of shows (though I only saw the renewable energy one during lunch)

2. I did see that

I do have a problem with wind energy though because it is really bad for the scenery. I wish it weren't necessary, but it may be. Hopefully we can progress beyond that as soon as possible and find a way to get enough renewable energy so we don't have those wacky pinwheels all over the landscape.
