We need a "whatever happened to that story about....?" forum
As in,

Whatever happened to that story about the truckers who showed up at the nuclear power plant in Pennsylvania with pockets of cash and no papers?

Please add your memory of a story that faded without a good resolution.

The Congressional subpoenas of Rove, Rice, Harriet Miers and other White House officials that they have refused to obey. I want to see some of these fuckers behind bars.

It's hard to keep track.

The Utah mine disaster, the Minnesota bridge collapse, virtually anything from Congress--you are damn right we need this.

Count me in.

10. How about the little kid who lost his entire family and both arms
at the shoulders early after US bombs hit his house in the Iraq War?

I'm glad that other little kid is getting his burned face treated, but we shouldn't forget the rest of the Iraqi wounded because one kid gets medical care.

12. It was a really strange story. A truck showed up a the middle of the night at a
nuke plant to pick up some tools a contractor had left. No invoices, no work orders, just two guys in a semi wanting entrance into the plant. For some reason, plant security searched (them? the truck ? I can't remember) and found wads of cash. No arrests, end of story.

So was this -

two guys working for the contractor who used the run to pick up equipment as a cover for hauling and delivering drugs?

or

two guys who were paid to lift some radioactive material from the nuke plant

or

two guys who just don't trust banks?

needed. Anyone up for a visit to Pa, Bechtel trucking, local police and defense department?

15. Sounds like a suicide mission to me.
As in, anyone who's tried to track this has already been "suicided," which is why we haven't heard any more about it.

God, I'm getting cynical. :(

18. Peace takes courage and so does honest government.
So does walking out the door in the morning. It's time to stand for what is true. It is what makes being an American worth something. Don't we all agree?

19. You're singing to the choir.
I spent two years doing hurricane recovery after our government's major fuck up. This weekend's rally in DC is the first major DC rally I've missed since Jan. 20, 2001, even though I've lived in Colorado and Mississippi. I use my journal to document here on DU what I witness. I play a part in the alternative media, and thus, in holding the government responsible. I can't help it that it's wearing me down being on the front lines.

But if you're so hot on making a stand, then, please, investigate wtf happened with that Pennsylvanian truck and get back to us.

Sadly, it would become instantly flooded.

22. Remember the bomb that went off at the Yale Law School in spring 2003?
Never caught the guy, was a big news item for a couple weeks, then totally forgotten. It was strange - Bush was in Connecticut at the time, too. Very odd story.

They never solved the Anthrax case either. Or the mystery of the "Israeli Art Students" who appeared at Government facilities around the time of the WTC attacks. Or who really killed both Kennedy brothers. Or...
