We need a greatest of ALL TIME thread for those late to the party |
|
unlike the right, the left doesn't do a good job of repeating the basics and ground we have already covered--we expect people to join the conversation in progress and pick up the basics on their own.
To fix this, we ought to have a greatest of all time forum, so people can see our discussion of critical issues in the past.
The fundamental political weakness of Americans is we don't know history, not world history, and not even our own. DU could provide that context and continuity. The research forum has a similar intent, but doesn't seem to be attracting enough attention.
