There were a couple or three young nurses-in-training who decided I really needed a lot of backrubs, needed that bandage checked a lot...

They didn't move my bed, but I had a lot of really good company. Too bad I was hurting like hell. And my mother kept visiting.

One of them was a dead ringer for Halle Berry. I can see her now, leaning over the bed, plumping the pillow...
