3. I remember where I was when I first heard about the attacks. |
|
I was on my way to morning classes at the community college. I heard it pretty much the same way your grandparents heard about the attack on Pearl Harbor, through the radio. As the day wore on all I heard was second-hand information. I was away from the TV all day, as classes were in session, but from what I heard, I began to realize the true magnitude of the situation.

9. Did you have classes that day? |
|
Thankfully my business closed. I guess it didn't hurt that when my boss walked in that morning, all of us were gathered in the conference room around the tv, clearly not planning to move at all that day.

14. It was a Tues. morning, so yeah, remarkably, the community college didn't cancel classes |
|
Looking back on it, I think I hate that school a little bit for that.

16. Yea. I was driving for a used auto auction right out by the airport... |
|
It was really eerie, with no planes taking off, us drivers scrambling to get the radio on as we switched cars, and those bastid car salesmen bidding away like nothing was going on.

|
I taught a class that morning at my University, and I didn't know about the attack until after I got done (the class was held right at the time the towers were hit/collapsed). I remeber seeing something just before going to class about an "airliner accident" but no more. I know if I had taught that afternoon I would have cancelled, I went home as soon as I saw what had happened. But sometimes one just goes through the motions when hit with something so big.

7. Amazing, people on the ground knew the first hit was a jet |
|
And the second was another. While our Idiot in Charge thought the first was a small plane.

What I saw was the same thing I saw six years ago. There are so many obvious lies and distractions surrounding this, I thought from the OP subject that there was something new here, but I didn't see anything.

If you've ever seen a house on fire, you'd know that under extreme heat (and thus extreme pressure), windows blow out. In the case of 9/11, the impact and explosion of the jet liners ignited fires which spread to lower floors. Some windows on these lower floors blew out, allowing flame and smoke to escape. This is an extremely common phenomena (featured very prominently in home fire-safety videos), and is in no way indicative of some tinfoil-hat conspiracy theory.

26. the fire training i received while working in a 40 story office tower |
|
Edited on Mon Sep-17-07 07:37 AM by KurtNYC
was that if there is a fire on your floor you only go 2 floors down -- and not to the street -- because office buildings are designed to contain fires very well. And more people can be hurt in panicked evacuations.
Both of the planes that hit the WTC exploded in fireballs on impact -- that was the jet fuel. The fuel didn't somehow not burn up on impact and then trickle down to lower floors to spread the fire 20 minutes later.
edit to add: the second fire ball in this video appears to be the second plane impacting the tower which is blocked in this view by the smoking one. The second plane impacted the other tower lower than the first.

The impact alone must have damaged several floors. After all, a 747 is a very large piece of machinery; all variants stand over 63 feet tall. Furthermore, while most office buildings are built to withstand fires, it is clear an inferno of jet fuel is not what engineers had in mind. In my opinion, it is not outside the realm of possibility that the fires spread to lower floors.
While the video shows the explosion caused by the second plane, the angle obscures the second tower from view. So, it is possible the previous poster confused the second hit for another explosion in the tower in the foreground. However, I thought the poster was referring to the smoke and flame erupting from various spots several feet below the point of impact on the first tower.
Regardless, there's nothing contained within this video that we haven't seen before.

32. "Explosions" specifically noted by firemen and others . . . . |
|
and in the way that explosions occur in demolition work --
".....bam,bam,bam,bam...."
Try listening to the fire fighting witnesses about these "explosions."

21. Yeah, I heard that too. I think one of the towers fell and he assumed it was yet another plane. |
|
From where he was and with all the smoke, he couldn't really see exactly what it was.

I saw 'Loose Change' 'In Plane Sight' and a local broadcast that was one of the most awesome and fantastic documentaries this past weekend. I have always knew that it was an 'Inside Job' But after this weekend, it is 100% clear that we were very much lied to.............and it continues...as 9/11 is the cog that started everything.
