Let's forget about Iraq and fight the terrorists over here. After all, we know the lay of the land and we (still, for now) have the second amendment that allows us to arm ourselves. We fought a revolution for this patch of ground and we're not so willing to give it up. Sacrifices even Republicans aren't willing to make for Iraqi oil wouldn't even be questioned in order to protect our little patches that we call home.

We wouldn't be asking what we're fighting for, we'd know. And it wouldn't be costing us all this money that you're pouring into Iraq. I don't even like guns but I'll spring for a couple and lots of ammo to defend my home.

Yeah, even us dirty, traitorous liberals will be right there fighting for what REALLY is ours. So bring our kids home. Let them rest, get healthy again, have normal lives. We can do what's necessary...when it's really necessary.
