1. Whether or not we "like" the nominee is irrelevant
But whether or not the person will defend the Constitution is of paramount importance. I'm not gonna hold my breath on that one, though.

2. Not a chance.
He hasn't nominated anyone for any position that wasn't one of his cronies in the last 6.5 years. Why would he start now?
