3. Call GOP contributor and war contractor General Electric Corporation at 203 373 2211
Call GOP contributor and war contractor General Electric Corporation at 203 373 2211 and ask for the public relations department. Tell the person in public relations that you want the GE CEO to get Bush to end the war in Iraq and then Bush resign with Cheney and until that happens you will not buy any GE products and that you will tell your friends about this. Then send me an email to info at dmocrats dot org with the subject antiwar after you make the call.

5. Watch KO. Just don't buy GE Ovens, refrigerators, stereos, TV's, light bulbs
and more. Anything with a GE logo do not buy and any services done by GE do not buy.

Yes watch Keith Olbermann the exception to the boycott.

Make the call please and see if you can get 100 friends, family, coworkers, and aquantances off line as well as online to call.

Thank you.

15. Or use electricity

(and sometimes water)

A large percentage of power is generated and transmitted with GE Power Generation gear.

Ironically, even the act of calling GE to tell'm you are boycotting them requires that you use GE products

GE is also getting big into water purification. Its quite possible your municipality uses GE equipment for that.

This company is so pervasive that a complete boycott is nearly impossible.

16. Or buy anything that moved by rail or ship.
"Pervasive" barely describes the scope. They make Locomotives and both diesel and turbine engines for ships. They also make Wind Turbines. And CAT Scanning machines, Ultra Sound machines, Solar panels and hundreds of other products that are used, either directly or indirectly by virtually every American, every day.

I appreciate the intent of the OP but suggesting they can be swayed to pressure the administration to do ANYTHING by a boycott is a bit like tilting at a VERY large windmill. A windmill no doubt built by GE.

It is stated the GE is a Military Contractor. Besides Jet Engines, what else are they making for the Military?

17. I just don't know how effective that tactic is
they have much bigger amounts of income from huge contracts than what a boycott of liberals would starve them of

that they do, don't they?

7. Done. I called in and asked for community relations.
I told them I'd been alerted to a boycott that would last until the war ended.

You, go, liberaldemocrat7! I'll help you kick this thread three ways to Sunday.
