Interesting political job posted on Monster.com yesterday...
It almost sounds like someone is preparing to enter the Democratic field. Or it could be a new grassroots Dem group preparing for next year's elections. Or something the DNC is cooking up.

Still, I'm going to allow myself to fantasize...and feel free to burst my bubble, but it's a lovely thought.

Run, Al, Run!

2. MoveOn.org was looking for people too, this is the email I got last week
maybe the same?

Dear MoveOn member,

Have you ever read one of our emails and thought "I could do better"?

Well, now's your chance! For the first time, we're hiring MoveOn fellows: five-month paid positions working alongside our top campaigners and organizers on the most important issues of our times.

Whether you're a recent college grad or a movement veteran looking for a change, we're looking for a few great folks who are passionate, innovative, and ready to move progressive politics! If this is you, just click below to fill out the application by September 21st. Or be sure to pass on to family and friends who might fit the bill.

http://www.moveon.org/fellowship?id=11240-8130000-CqRRgh&t=4

It's a great trade—if you share your ideas and time with us, we'll teach you all we know about online organizing.

We're looking for a diverse group of applicants, united by their passion for a more progressive America. Maybe you've spent years working for progressive organizations. Maybe you haven't even finished school. How you got here isn't important; where you're going is.

MoveOn Fellows will work in the trenches to end the war in Iraq, stop the climate crisis, win the '08 election, and make their mark on other high-profile issues. We'll give you extensive training on online organizing so you have all the tools to make a real difference.

This job isn't about xeroxing for the big wigs! You'll be creating and executing core campaign responsibilites alongside key MoveOn staff people.

Each Fellow will have a one-on-one mentoring relationship with a senior MoveOn staffer, so you'll learn as much as possible in your five months on the job. We'll even assist Fellows in searching for jobs in the progressive movement—possibly within MoveOn itself.

Because MoveOn operates as a "virtual organization," Fellows can participate in the fellowship from anywhere in the United States.

3. I'm K&R-ing. It IS exciting to think about -- and could be a match made
in heaven for a DUer. I'd love to see that happen. Good Luck to any of you who apply. You have thousands of personal references available!
