A chat with my Republican cousin

She says Bush has ruined any chance for a Republican to be elected in 2008, and she doesn't like any of the Republican candidates anyway.

So she says she's voting for Obama, because she can't absolutely just can't stand Hillary.

I kept repeating the name, "Dennis Kucinich" over and over to her and her husband. They'd never heard of him before (thanks to the Liberal Media), but they will be looking at him now.

1. So, instead of encoraging their like of Obama, you lead them toward someone the most left candidate.
Baby steps?

8. Baby steps are how we've been pulled this far to the right. Fuck that.
If they're spite voting, they might as well vote for someone who cares about the majority of us beyond our ability to contribute money.

5. They are good folks, yep. But we have some similar to your cousin in the family, too.

Except for the NASCAR part, thankfully. But even they are not saying nice things about GeeDumbya. So maybe there's hope.

7. Not ironically the only one of my Grandmother's grandkids that hasn't gone
to college I may add.

My grandfather (old rubber worker's union) would be ashamed of him.

3. Way to go!
The only way that Kucinich will be heard is if the Democrats start speaking out. Why do they settle for Hillary or Obama when they voted for the war and speak of keeping soldiers in Iraq. Why do we want Bush Lite. I want an honest person with answers to America's problems. Strength through Peace. Go Dennis. NGU. Peace, Kim

6. I agree.

And I'll keep speaking out for him. As you say, an honest person with answers to America's problems.
