"An enfeebled President George W Bush" ducks fight over attorney general
I though this, from the self-dubbed "Britain's No.1 quality newspaper website," would be enjoyed by all DUers.

Bush ducks fight over attorney general
By Toby Harnden - 18/09/2007

An enfeebled President George W Bush ducked a fight with the Democrat-controlled Senate but risked alienating conservative activists yesterday by nominating as his new attorney general a former judge backed by many liberals.

Michael Mukasey was chosen instead of Ted Olson, a conservative hero and liberal hate figure who represented the then Texas governor in the Bush vs Gore case that won him the presidency .....

1. You know, the puppet doesn't have his favorite puppeteer to guide him.
The one who made it fun.

Now he's stuck with growling Dick. MKJ

8. "growling dick" -- is there a treatment for that condition?
Some kind of salve, perhaps an ointment prepared from the peaches of the island Im?

I see yet another of those all-too-common opportunities for an ambitious photoshopper to leave a lasting impression...

5. Thank you! What a cheerful headline. "Enfeebled"!
Why, that's quite mean. I'm going to feel fine for hours.

6. I saw that word, and knew immediately
As soon as I saw the word "enfeebled," I knew it couldn't be a U.S. outlet. No U.S. writer would use the word "enfeebled," first of all, but the popular media are still so cowed by this crooked, impotent administration that they can't even bring themselves to acknowledge that the public overwhelmingly wants to trade in this no-good, miserable, fucked-up war and the assholes who brought it to us.

12. Okay, I looked. Didn't see tags.
Did see a list of stuff I've looked at recently...and then a suggestion that I buy something that looked like iRaq for Dummies. It was iPaq for Dummies, but for one moment I thought someone had had an interesting idea.
