Chavez to regulate private automobiles.
In an unprecedented act of stalinist tyranny, the Chavinista Dictatorship in Venezuela announced today that all private automobiles will be regulated by the federal government. Strict safety and emissions standards will be imposed on private automobiles, and those private vehicles that fail to meet these new standards, imposed by the rubber stamp legislature, will be confiscated by the socialist government, and their owners fined. Commercial vehicles from the beseiged private sector will also be subject to this extreme measure.

1. I presume this is a bit tongue-in-cheek...?
Forgive me if it's not. This is what we do in my state:

6. Am I laughing?
This is just the first step. Next they are going after the water and the air, claiming that these resources belong 'to the people' (and we know what that means, wink wink nudge nudge).

16. The dangers of dihydrogen monoxide include:
Also called "hydroxyl acid", the substance is the major component of acid rain;
Contributes to the greenhouse effect;
Contributes to the erosion of our natural landscape;
Accelerates corrosion and rusting of many metals.;
Excessive ingestion may cause various unpleasant effects, including death;
Prolonged contact with its solid form results in severe tissue damage;
Inhalation, even in small quantities, may cause death;
Its gaseous form may cause severe burns;
It has been found in the tumors of terminal cancer patients;
For those who have become dependent, DHMO withdrawal means certain death;
Despite the danger, DHMO is often used:
Used in many forms of cruel animal research;
The US Navy has a secret distribution network for DHMO;
Lakes and rivers all over the world are contaminated with DHMO;
In the distribution of pesticides. Even after washing, produce remains contaminated by this chemical;
As an additive in certain "junk-foods" and other food products;
Known to be a component of a number of cancer-causing agents
Nevertheless, governments and corporations continue using it widely, heedless of its grave dangers.
