From DailyKos: http://www.dailykos.com/story/2007/9/18/13255/3685"It's a movement in disarray and their increasing disenchantment with politics may prove yet another headache for an already-reeling Republican Party." I sure as hell hope so, :woohoo:

Evangelical Christian Republicans sponsor a "value voters" Republican debate which draws only the "single-digit" and "who?!" candidates. They promise that this time, they're really going to demand commitment from the Republican nominee — or else.
The article asks, "Or else, what?" and suggests that the religious right's stranglehold on the GOP is either going to be shaken off, or is going to kill it. The author predicts that the GOP will start to marginalize the fringe elements because they are driving a wedge between the GOP and ordinary America.
