Task Force Lightning Soldiers attacked

Multi-National Division – North PAO

TIKRIT, Iraq – Three Task Force Lightning Soldiers were killed in Diyala Province, Tuesday, following an explosion near their patrol.

Three Soldiers were also wounded and transported to a Coalition medical facility for treatment.

The names of the deceased are being withheld pending next of kin notification and release by the Department of Defense
