Not long after Mr. Raj's time in the spotlight I asked here more than once if anyone knew what had happened to him. The lack of DU interest seemed quite clear judging from the lack of replies, none of which reported his fate.

Almost mystical around here nowadays.

I, for example, have self-identity problems, an alcohol problem, a drug problem, an attitude problem, an ego problem, and my mother dresses me funny. I learned all that stuff about myself here, learned it for the first time, cuz weirdly enough, I never knew all that about myself. I'm pretty goddam fucked up, it seems.

All of this, of course, comes as a shock for my girlfriend. :)

One of the magnificent things I realized when I took that month was the fact that I was paying waaaaay too much attention to that shit. To be fair, there are some of those cats who were just *assassins* at getting under my skin, and it finally started to bother me.

But then it came to me...it is unbelievably pathetic to think that there are actually some people around here who make it their business to lob insults my way. Like clockwork. They go out of their way, and I think some of them actually have each other on buddly lists so they can alert each other, because they all seemed to show up in my threads at exactly the same time. I can't fathom the bottomless Wah their lives must be, if shit like that is truly important to them. I feel sorry for them.

Hell, one dude tonight in my "DU Monster" thread told me he'd been "watching me"...for a while now. I find that really sad (and not scary, that's old hat by now)...but that meant I was once just as sorry and sad as them, too, because I was letting them get to me.

So that's over. I know who my friends are, and I'm damned lucky to have them.
