I think this is the only thing that can possibly stop the US or Israel from launching an attack on Iran. The US has no problem bombing the shit out of other countries, because there have never been any repercussions for such an act. The rest of the world simply can't allow the US and Israel to bully other nations into submission! Russia and China should make it quite clear that all options are on the table in the event of an attack on Iran or Syria. The fucking chickenhawks in DC are so bent on "getting" Iran, that they have no fucking clue about the serious consequences. All they care about is getting their blood money, and enriching their defense contractor buddies. I hope that Russia & China stand up and make it quite clear that they will NOT stand by and tolerate such aggressive military action on our part.

1. They need to start selling off dollars if we or Israel attack Iran
and dumping treasury bonds.....and laying down heavy sanctions.

2. As a US citizen, I'd hate to see that - but we would definitely deserve it
Heck, Russia & China shouldn't be afraid to keep the threat of military force on the table also. Seems that force is the only language the neocons understand.

3. I severely doubt Russia and China want to start WWIII over Iran
Especially China, who would lose their best trading partner and consumer of lead tainted crap.

5. That's about it
China has no blue water navy, no aircraft carriers, but I guess they have a bunch of ICMBs.

6. Russia is still too disorganized
and China not economically stable enough.

Let's see what happens in the next few years though

7. Clueless
Both China and Russia are in no position to offer anything other than idle threats to the US. China wouldn't give up the financial loss it would suffer in a conflict with the US and Russia is too disorganized. Have they started to pay their military yet?

If the US launched an attack on Iran, Iraq would align itself with the US in the hopes of destroying it's enemy. The Iraqi military would triple in size overnight.
