And I'm pretty happy about it for every other reason than that which you mentioned :-) I am a huge fan of multi-culture.
If this is propaganda, who knows which audience it's meant for? I usually put a lot of weight on how the DU reacts. If it splits us, it's propaganda, if we (more or less) agree, it's genuine. I like Pelosi, I like Cindy Sheehan, I have no problems with their disagreement, they are two parts of the same democracy.
This episode has been richly covered in the Norw. paper Dagbladet.
http://www.dagbladet.no/nyheter/2007/09/18/512488.htmlUsually, you can't even buy media time for Dems in this paper, and they regularily suppress info about other demo's against Dems, like when Code Pink or Cindy Sheehan tries to get media coverage. And the anti-war demonstration pics are also suppressed. But this episode they covered, in technicolor and with so many pics, even video. Now, during the 2004 election, they came out as Bush-shills, introducing conservative bloggers and calling Kerry a 'transvestite'. Since then, their paper has turned into a FOX-like rag, not even bothering to hide their bias anymore. It's the paper for, and by, the Progress party--with Karl Rove sitting on their shoulder.
Strange thing for the so-called 'liberal' Norw. media to support Bush, no? It's going on across the spectrum here. I do compare Norway more and more to Venezuela; with media solidly biased towards the conservatives and against the elected (supposedly socialist) government.
Anyhow, this Kerry episode smells fishy.
