Why do we expect so little?
We have seen bush threaten to veto very reasonable and popular legislation with not a flinch of cowardice, but our "top-tier" candidates are ready to bend us all over so they can leave no insurance exec behind... why? Cause it "won't pass congress".

How is it that we have watched as the republican party has pushed through one rotten horrible lousy thing after another... but when one of our guys has a GOOD idea... no, not a GOOD idea... the only SANE idea... just about everyone throws their towels in claiming "can't be done! give up now!"?

1. Because they've done so little for the past few years. And that

4. Politics, disgustingly, as usual.

5. Hah... now I have Firth of Fifth in my head... thanks...
And so with gods and men
The sheep remain inside their pen
Though many times they've
seen the way to leave

14. So... it is just cowardice?
The American people need a sane solution... we need leaders willing to take charge and make it happen.

18. Yes...
which makes me wonder all the more why there aren't more 'liberal' journalists decrying the way the media whores itself to corporations and makes the republican party look less vile and detestable than they are.
