12. Should have made this a poll |
|
No question in my mind that Kucinich would be the best choice. Kucinich is the most progressive candidate out there, the closest, and most marketable is Edwards, that would be my dream team for turning things around.

15. People have offered some really good names so far in this thread. |
|
Cuomo might serve his country in a next Democratic administration, and he would be damned formidable in the veep debate, too. He'd tear Haley Barbour, for example, to shreds in about 14 seconds flat.
Ditto Kay Bailey Hutchison.
Hart and Biden for the foreign policy chops. Good choices both.
Richardson. Energy adept plus a west-of-the-Mississippi governor with liaison power for many Hispanic voters.
I'd love a pro-union veep nom and my guess is we'll have one if Edwards is the nominee.
I wouldn't rule out Chris Dodd.
Governor Sebelius is very impressive.
I don't think Dick Gephardt would be a bad choice at all.
I want Joe Biden in some role in the next administration -- don't even care which role, but in some influential capacity. Could easily be veep, Sec. of State, and so forth.
Robert F. Kennedy Jr. would shake the rafters. Absent a Gore entry in the race, RFK Jr would be a very powerful altenative choice for environmental issues.

Too bad Clark endorsed Hillary. He would have been good.

18. Hi, bluethruandthru. On RFK Jr. What a true heart. Good brain, |
|
and he has inherited his mother's and father's personal will.
I'm constantly impressed with what he has to say and write.
Just an amazing guy. It would be a real lift to have him in our next government, and I think there'd be many positions he could do extremely well. President, Vice President, Attorney General, and so forth.
