Congressional Republicans to the troops: Shut the fuck up and get back in the field!
Senate Republicans have succeeded in defeating the Webb amendment by a vote of 44-56.
That's right, the majority of Senators agreed with the amendment, but the bastards filibustered a bill which would mandate that our grunts receive a little breathing time in between deployments. Damn, those are some troop-supporting mother fuckers.

5. Utterly disgraceful.
Though I'm proud of those who care about our troops, I'm so ashamed of the sham that is Congress right now. Never in the history of this country have we had so many mediocre, do-nothing, troop killing, sexual deviants in Congress. History will remember and despise these self-serving scum.

9. The headline on CNN said Dems fail to pass.
Inst it great that they tell Americans that the Democrats failed instead of stating the truth, Republicans were against the troops getting that time.

16. CNN's lying
and it'd be obvious to any American with even a little bit of civics knowledge (or who reads beyond headlines, unlike *).

Here's a good one from Yahoo:

10. Why? I don't get this
What conservative doctrine dictates that this is a bad thing?

What reasons do the "Nay" voters give?

And, most importantly of all, how does this help the image of the GOP as "s'porting da troops"???

:wtf:

A yea vote might have been construed as a means of reining in the jug-eared little prick. Can't have that.

15. Bush fought the last 2.5% pay raise as well.
Bush wanted to give them only 2.0%.

Then he screws them over like this, over and over again.

Unbelievable.
