Word is that KLSD here in San Diego WILL flip from its progressive format!

I've got some inside info that people are relaying to me that the decision has been made and that Air America and others close to the situation here are certain that KLSD will flip shortly. No date yet, but the Clear Channel shareholder's meeting is coming Tuesday this coming week (September 25th), so I wouldn't be surprised if it were to happen before then.

Not sure what we can do at this point, but perhaps those located in San Antonio, TX or where they are having their meeting (might be Dallas, but I'm not sure), can protest for us there outside the shareholders' meeting.

We need to make this PAINFUL for them so that they don't succeed in doing this elsewhere. Trying to decide whether I'm going to find a better radio to plug my ipod into to use podcasts instead of I'm going to subscribe to XM or Sirius, or frickin' move out of this increasing hell hole of right wing crap here in San Diego. I recall that the real hell's mouth posited in Buffy the Vampire Slayer wasn't located too far from here. Seems like Joss Whedon might want to reconsider a "reality" show sequel series! :(

Stacy Taylor said on his show one day that he had spoken with Ed Schultz, and Ed told him that he'd lost sixteen affiliates in a very short period time. The corporate masters have a huge stake in the next election, so I won't be surprised when Progressive Talk is removed from the airwaves almost completely.

I really hate it for Stacy & Scooter, they make my day.
