It seems a Repug is talking about a different subject and it just goes on and on and on. I'm just trying to figure out what is going on. The senate votes down troop support after Reid passionately (for him) speaks to the suicide of our kids at war and reminds the assholes they "are not machines" and to listen to the 7 brave Repubs supporting the troop redeployment and not the president. The house is doing what?? Any body know??

Before big votes, everyone wants their shot to get as many opportunities for quotes in the hometown papers and 15-second clips on the local news.
No filibusters in the House.

the Senate is discussing morning bsiness. The two ammendments failed (Webb and McCain) and there is no filibustering, they were both withdrawn. I don't know about the moveon ammendment, it just seemed to end without a vote. Hope this is helpful.
