Poll question: Is it ok to send a person to prison based on trumped up evidence
as long as we all agree he's guilty? I didn't follow the O J Simpson murder trial very closely, but my understanding is that someone walked through the crime scenes with a vial of OJ's blood, then the police came up with samples of his blood from the crime scenes to prove he was there. It seems to me that as soon as it was established that the blood evidence could have been tampered with, that evidence was off the table. If we convict a guilty man based on faked evidence, what's to stop us from convicting an innocent man?

4. Agreed.
I don't care how much people hate the defendant (any defendant) or how popular it is to call for his conviction, we must be strict in enforcing fair due processes.

Unequal and/or unfair treatment in the criminal justice system is historically (and still today) one of the biggest flaws in our society.

3. I don't get what you're getting at? Many innocent people have
been convicted for much less than no evidence....the hue of their skin....wrong place, wrong time....the list goes on...

Many guilty go free..because the have the $$$$$

There is something wrong with our legal system...

9. you must find the defendant guilty beyond reasonable doubt.
If the defense can convince a jury of reasonable doubt, the jury has a duty to find you not guilty...
