well, Bush et al/Rupugs in Congress won 2 major rounds today!! I do not |
|
blame the Dems. They have decided (at the Tues lunch) that they will continue to put forth bills with timelines (which is a change in position from the last 2 weeks). I just feel rather down about it all. And I am sure Webb does also.

3. They "won" nothing. They failed the troops. They failed the |

Constitution. They failed the American people..
(Don't use "won" and Repugs in the same sentence)

6. Our troops and the American people lost two rounds today. |
|
I just got done watching James Gandolfini's documentary 'Alive Day'. It was heartbreaking. We need to get our troops out of the shithole Bush created. I don't know how we'll ever make things right in Iraq or America again, but I still have hope. Bush has killed and displaced millions of people and trashed two countries. He has left one of our most historic cities to rot. The Republicans, and their President are criminals and traitors to the Constitution, and what they did today underlines that fact. They've shown today and every day that they have nothing but the vilest contempt for Our Troops, the American people and the freedoms that The Constitution has provided us for over 200 years. May the Republican Party burn to the ground, and never rise again.

7. And What Did The GOOP Really Win??? |
|
I'm proud that ALL Democrats voted together today. No defections or hesitation. They won the vote, but the American people and specifically the Repugnicans are the big losers. The defections are slow, but they continue...the last time the Webb Ammendment came up, it was 5 votes shy...today it was 3. The pressure was intense on the GOOP side today and it's gonna get tighter as more and more people see whose obstructing. It now makes this not just boooshie's war, but the Repugnicans as well...and they're gonna wear it all the way to the next election.
Someone said the problem wasn't the Democrats not having the votes, but there not being enough Democrats. Hope that motivates those in purple and red areas to work a little harder to make your local Repugnican's life as miserable as possible over the next year.

assholes to ever serve in the Senate. I used to live in VA, and never could understand why people kept electing that creep.
He talks tough, and then folds like a tent whenever the party puts pressure on him.
That's who I blame for this one. He's a pig.
Liz Taylor is a lot better off without him. I can't stand that asshole.
