Only one of the deaths can be directly linked to the unit assigned to load the weapons.

The couple that died in Barksdale was a plain motorcycle/minivan accident with witnesses.

The links track to news stories about the deaths, but I don't see the source for the claim that they were all on the nuke xfer.

Three, not six involved Minot airmen.
Five not six deaths (one was a duplicate)
Two of them occurred in July (including one of the Minot airmen)
One was from barksdale.
One was from florida.

Not noted -- injuries and deaths from motorcycle and car accidents are, and have been, a mini-epidemic on air force bases (where you have a high concentration of young men with an affinity for speed and danger). The wording in the article obviously lead some people to believe that the that these were deaths in the actual event. My responsibility here for not checking links. Thanks for pointing it out.
