15. The Democrats Stood Strong

I was very glad to see the Democrats stand united on two very important votes. For those who say "Democrats are wimps or don't stand up", here's an example of how they did and how Repugnican obstructionism is the cause of a lot of the messes we're in. It's not the Democrats who aren't standing up, it's the spineless Repugnicans who are more worried about getting pillaged in the right wing "media" or losing RNC money. Let us keep reminding voters who stood against their right to a fair trial and who wants to keep the bloodletting and deterioration of our military continue...the names are right above!

Kudos to the Democrats...keep running up these bills and ammendments. Even if they don't pass, they will demonstrate over and over again who works for the American people and whose got their heads up the military-industrial and boooshie's ass.

Since sixty votes weren't achieved, the filibuster is sustained.
