1. Reading your post made me think of something

No matter what we do, protest, deny the war, want to bring our troops home, want to restore Habeas Corpus the media does not print any damn thing about it. In fact the republicans became obstructionist again and the media made it seem as if the democrats were at fault for not passing the bills.

Why don't we start protesting the newspapers, the network TV offices, Cable Offices. When ever one of the media goes to an event, protest them. Have signs that say "Why aren't you American" "Are you a member of the USA" "Why do you support the terrorist and not the USA"

Maybe if we protested them enough they might get the idea that's the reason they are losing money in their business.

3. I'm trying to get a group to protest the local media

*** I have all 5 of the local tv station's newsroom's # in my cell phone. Also one of right-wing radio show and the LOCALLY OWNED liberal radio station's #.

I often call and give them "heck" for not covering the events.

I think it takes more.. like getting "uncovered" so they cover the truth.

THANK GOD FOR YOU TUBE, the INTERNET, FREE SPEECH radio, Air America, etc.. etc.. etc.

2. I hope you'll be giving out little "tour tickets" to the larry craig memorial

men's room stall. A little souvenir, y'know. A visual aid, a widely-shared private joke.

Also, I hope the vote on the Webb bill to give our troops some breathing room between battle stints will give you PLENTY of ammo. DON'T be afraid to use that! Remind everyone you encounter that it's the republi-CONS who are holding our soldiers hostage and "support our troops" so damned much that they want to keep them in harm's way with EVEN LESS of a time-out to rest and recover!!! Isn't that the patriotic thing to do??? Support our troops! Make sure you KEEP 'EM STUCK over there in that DEAD-END WAR!!! YAY!!! 9/11!!! Isn't it just SO much fun to be SKEEEEEERED???? Doesn't that make you feel all proud and all-American and red-white-and-blue?

I'm hoping that Harry Reid intends to stay tough and bring these things to a vote even if he knows there won't be enough votes. That way it is VERY clear who's REALLY supporting our troops and who's simply FUCKING them. And we should be repeating what he said - that this is PROOF-POSITIVE it's the republi-CONS' war as well as george w. bush's war. It's THEIR war too. And let them drag it like a millstone around their necks ALL THE WAY to the next election.
