We're betting the farm on Iraq...and we're losing....

Guess it's time to double up on Iran, right?

It started after WW II. The Industrialists were still the major power-brokers in the US, but a new, ambitious class of Imperialists started coming up fast on their rear. And while the scientists and engineers of other nations invested in producing better consumer goods, we put our Best and Brightest to the task of building better killing machines.

So now, we pretty much hocked our nation up to it's eyeballs in order to get the US/British Big Oil firms first crack at Iraq's 300 to 400 billion barrels of oil. And will they bail us out if a miracle happens and that long-shot succeeds? Here's a hint:
