I never want to hear Sen. Voinovich talk about "Supporting the Troops" again. |
|
That goes for Warner too and any other senator who voted against Jim Webb's bill. Talk is cheap.
A good friend's son tour of duty is from Feb. 2007 to July 2008 w/ 2 weeks off. He is in the thick of it too. His duty shifts are anywhere from 8 to 18 hours of trying to kill the "other side" as they try to kill him. His vehicle is always hit by small fire when they drive off base and sleep is interrupted by mortars 2 to 3 times a week.

1. I don't know why anyone's surprised he voted with the cabal. |
|
Historically and unfortunately, as my Senator he always talks a good game, "not going with the party line all the time", blah blah blah.
Yet when it comes down to it, on crucial issues that Bewsh the Spoiled Brat wants, he'll go ankles up for the Cabal every time.
Small wonder why this will be his last term as Senator. Ohio is slowly wising up to these criminals and their enablers. We've already axed that idiot DeWine in favor of the more progressive Sherrod Brown and George is next.

2. I swear they're blackmailing him-remember his "crying moment"? What I don't |
|
get is that much of his corruption has been already exposed -remember the Fitrakis book "The Brothers Voinovich". He must still have more skeletons in the closet.
