Blackwater VP is also Romney advisor
I missed this story when it came out yesterday. And I don't know if anyone posted it here on DU at that time. But I figured it needed a bit of publicity. I'm just doing my part to spread the truth about Mittens.

Blackwater VP Advising Mitt Romney on Terrorism

Once he was known as the "Flies On The Eyeballs" guy. Lately, he's been the vice president of controversial private security company Blackwater. Now, Cofer Black has a new position: top counterterrorism adviser to Massachusetts Republican Mitt Romney's presidential campaign.

~ snippity-snip ~

Black left government in 2005 to join Blackwater, whose activities in Iraq have drawn both the ire of the Iraqi government and the opprobrium of House Oversight Committee chairman Henry Waxman (D-CA). But that hasn't disqualified Black from advising Romney's campaign.

2. Thanks for the info.
You'd be surprised at how many people do not know anything about Blackwater at all. Wait a minute. No I wouldn't.
But stuff like this needs to be out in the open.

4. Talk about follow the money. How many of our tax dollars go to GOP
defense contracts that kick back money to the next GOP leader? Privatization is not an accurate word for a hostile takeover of democracy financed by our own money. Someone here used the term "piratization." I think that's more like it. Not that the monied folks couldn't afford to game our democracy on their own nickle. I think they just enjoy grinding us under.
