"Congress shall make no law..abridging the Freedom of Speech or of the Press" |
|
Edited on Thu Sep-20-07 12:12 PM by yodermon
The Cornyn amendment abridges Free Speech in the following manner: I am afraid to speak out against my government because I fear that Congress may pass a law condemning me.
I will say that at least we have a lot of repukes, on record, as supporting the slander of war veterans simply because they're Democrats. This could be useful ammo in '08, but it's a Pyrrhic victory IMHO since our first amendment has just been trampled.
(fixed typo on edit.)

2. My new tagline..tks and |

this is all I'm saying in my letter to Dorgan and a few others I have particular ire with today.
Good thing is, More people read the Moveon "BetrayusPetrayus" ad than even knew what took place in the Senate today.
Hope moveon hits back in an 'in your face' ad.

|
It doesn't have the force of law, only cowardice.
