19. That's for sure!
I had heard that she was DLC, but I didn't realize quite how much until these last couple of votes.

27. I noticed.
This is the second time she took the republican view. I emailed her twice and I have yet to get a reply. She sure is going to get my vote again unless she changes. I wish everyone who voted for her would ask her if she lied to us and is a republican in disguise...maybe she should join the bush dogs.

11. Comparing votes to FISA warrantless spying votes
Dems in favor of expanded spying: Bayh (IN); Carper (DE); Casey (PA); Conrad (ND); Feinstein (CA); Inouye (HI); Klobuchar (MN); Landrieu (LA); Lincoln (AR); McCaskill (MO); Mikulski (MD); Nelson (FL); Nelson (NE); Pryor (AK); Salazar (CO); Webb (VA). Lieberman.

These are the same people who voted for censure of any speech non-supportive of Bush/Cheney. Except Bayh didn't vote this time and Inouye voted with the Dem party.

16. sorry to see that Senator Leahy voted with the repukes
but given the choice between this vote for a meaningless "Sense of the Senate" Resolution or a vote for the IWR, I'll take this vote.

25. Jesus Fucking Christ!
What does it take for a Democrat to get just a modicum of repect on DEMOCRATIC Underground? If they vote for the goddamn bill, they get condemned! If they vote AGAINST it, they get condemned because they know they were going to lose anyway! WHAT THE FUCK? What can they possibly do to please you?

:wtf:

20. Check out how this correlates to Red States. Some Dems do not fall for tricks
like this. They know the "betrayed our troops" ads have already been written.

It is easier to give a wedgie than to get one!

24. Leahy?? That surprises me.
The other Dems who voted for this obvious "support the troops" charade lived up to my expectations. But, Leahy?? I don't get it.

My respect for him just dropped by several notches.

28. I've already decided before this vote that Landrieu won't get any help from me in her re-election
campaign. When I get a call from her people wanting my support, I plan to tell them:

-- that I only vote for authentic Democrats;

-- that she has represented only the Republican constituency; and

-- that if our state is going to have only Republican representation, we might as well have an honest-to-goodness Republican sitting in her chair.

I have sent her e-mail after e-mail with absolutely no answer from her, not even an acknowledgement of receipt. Now that her campaign is getting into gear, I've received at least three asking for my support. The gall is unbelievable.

What the fuck. Why are the Repukes still allowed to frame the debate?

31. Because the Dems have no spine, thus no ability to stand up to the 'Pugs
No matter what absurd position they take. Same reason we're still in Iraq too.
