Edited on Thu Sep-20-07 01:05 PM by rateyes
Biden (D-DE)
Cantwell (D-WA)
Obama (D-IL)

------------------------

Any explanations? Are they not in D.C.? Will they say how they would have voted?

Just asking.

ON EDIT:

The four Democratic Senators running for the Democratic nomination for POTUS:

BOXER AMENDMENT---Biden, Not Voting -- Clinton, Aye -- Dodd, Aye -- Obama, Aye
CORNYN AMENDMENT---Biden, Not Voting -- Clinton, Nay -- Dodd, Nay -- Obama, Not Voting

1. Good for them. It's not worth their effort. There's nothing to vote on! nt

9. That's interesting, too.
I'm sure they both voted aye on that one. And, that means that Obama was there. So why the failure to vote on Cornyn?

11. I remember Cantwell positively when I lived in WA State -- I pretty much have
faith that she, Obama and Biden had good reason to abstain -- whether because they were unavailable, or if they felt it was ludicrous. It'll be inter sting to hear their reasons.
