No more bipartisanship. No more triangulation. No more caving.

I've had it with compromise. I'm done with triangulation. I've had it with giving in to the GOP motherfuckers. And I'm especially sick of seeing our Congressional invertebrates just caving in on our most important, sacred issues - civil liberties and peace.

I'm sick of "bipartisanship." Being bipartisan with the Republicans as they've become today is like being bipartisan with the Nazis. You can't compromise with these fuckers. To paraphrase from The Terminator, they can't be bargained with. They can't be reasoned with. They don't feel pity, or remorse, or fear. And they absolutely will not stop, ever, until we and our liberties are dead.

Stop working with those psychopaths. It doesn't work. The only thing that we'll see out of this is yet another knife in our backs.

I frankly don't care if our Congresscritters have to commit seppuku in the Rose Garden if that's the only way to get true progressive change through. If that's the only way, I demand they do it. Here, I'll grab my katana and be their second.

1. Welcome to DU, backscatter.
My fingers didn't move to type the words you wrote, but you expressed the frustration I feel with our Democratic leaders today.

Thank you.

2. I don't know
we should be as bi-partisan with the Minority Party as they were with us when we were the Minority Party. In other words, club their knees, put a sack over their heads and throw them in the dungeon and then do whatever in the hell we want.

Sorry. Feeling a bit frustrated with the stunning lack of leadership these days. And here I thought Reid was going to be a real ball breaker. Turns out he's still looking for his. And I'm THAT close to giving up on them entirely.

3. Sorry, can't help you
'cause if I stop triangulating, I'll get lost!

:)

Seriously, I'd love to throw ALL of them out, too.
