Remember, the folks that answer the phones for Cornyn are notoriously rude. Maintain your cool. Do not curse. Ask them why would the Senator take money from a man that defames and smears a war hero - a veteran? Ask Cornyn why he took money from Swift Boat funder Bob Perry! Ask him why he won't return it?

The latest revelations about the poor treatment our wounded soldiers and veterans get are reprehensible. It’s hard to tell where to start to fix the system, as it has been allowed to decay for so long. Underfunding, private contractors, and low-balling disability ratings have all contributed to the decline in care. I feel it is important to point out one common denominator in all this. The Veteran's Administration budget is funded by Congress. Up until two months ago, the Congress had been lead by the Republican Party for the last 12 years. Our Senators Hutchison and Cornyn have both been highlighted by veterans groups (namely IAVA and DAV) as voting against the interests of Veterans, receiving respective grades of D+ and D-. Joe Barton did a little better — he received a “C.” These elected representatives have not had our veterans’ best interests at heart and the results are finally being dealt with. Those of you Republicans who wear your patriotism on your sleeve — this is how you support our troops?

got through....we both do this off and one and all we get for responses on e-mails are canned ones.

8. UPDATE

I called the DC office, and lodged my complaint. They told me they don't hand campaign stuff. So, then I called his Dallas office and was told they don't do campaign stuff either and that office was in Austin. I called the Austin office and was told the campaign office is a separate office. So, here is the number for Cornyn's Austin campaign headquarters: 1-512-494-8535

Still, I would also call the DC office or any office you can, Texans. Three different donations from Bob Perry in one months, just this last March. John Cornyn played stupid (which he does well) when both Boxer and Durbin asked him about the swift boat vets. John Cornyn knows damned well who the SBV are and he knows it because he took Bob Perry's filthy money!
