A Call to Arms

Whenever I get an idea that I'm excited about - it usually goes over here like a lead balloon - but I never give up - so - the thought of last night - and in light of the Stephen Colbert Shut Up thread - let's take some action.

I was so enthralled by Naomi Wolf and her book The End of America - we need to get her on every news show and network possible. Personally, I have e-mail CSPAN and asked them to please have her on. I know many of you here are regular e-mailers ot KO - so I'm hoping some of you will email him.

H20 Man's Thread is another great one - contribute to Move On.

Now then - what other actions can we take? We have Bush at 29% now - he CAN AND MUST BE STOPPED.

How many people have written books that are pertinent that we can get out there?

The 9/11 Commission's new book - WITHOUT PRECEDENT - where the chair and vice chair of the 9/11 Commission, respectively Thomas Kean and Lee Hamilton, assert that they were "set up to fail" and were starved of funds to do a proper investigation. They also confirm that they were denied access to the truth and misled by senior officials in the Pentagon and the federal aviation authority; and that this obstruction and deception led them to contemplate slapping officials with criminal charges.

Despite the many public statements by 9/11 commissioners and staff members acknowledging they were repeatedly lied to, not a single person has ever been charged, tried, or even reprimanded, for lying to the 9/11 Commission.

The 9/11 Commission was hamstrung by official obstruction. It never managed to ascertain the whole truth of what happened on September 11 2001.

If we are pro-active and constructive in our efforts - we CAN CHANGE THINGS - that's my .02 and I'll wait & watch this thread drop off the front page.
